Justification
With nearly 1400 individual students and over 3000 enrollments in Spring 18, the growing number of English as a Second Language students at ARC will benefit from a counselor understanding of and dedicated to their needs. Students respond to consistency in contacts; combined with their amazing networking skills and helpfulness towards each other, there will likely be fewer misunderstandings about meeting requirements for their chosen pathway, especially in light of AB-705 and the push for acceleration.
